Close Calls In Week 8
October 24, 2006
Notre Dame, Texas, Tennessee and Cal survived close calls this weekend in very close games that led to awesome come from behind victories. Nebraska had the win in the bag before fumbling, and Notre Dame came up big with a win; with only seconds on the clock. “Good teams win games like that,” Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis told reporters on Sunday. “Good teams make a play at the end of the game to win.” What about the teams that make an upset bid with No.10 in the Nation? No credit to UCLA from coach Charlie?
