Joe Paterno a Player?
January 4, 2007
This year Joe Paterno has been on both sides of the ball this year. In the beginning of the season the beloved coach of the Nittany Lions had the runs..and did he ever! He ran an estimated 100 (you could say offesive) yards to bathrooms where he remained for most of the game. Near the middle of the season he made an unpredictable tackle along the sidelines injuring his knee, but indeed he managed to knock the ball loose from the reciever. Can someone say defense? Still, Paterno refused not to leave the sidelines until he was forced by doctors. What a year for coach Paterno. Get Well Soon!

Got something to say?

Dear Mr. Paterno,
I don;t know how to reach you in any other way, so I am giving it a shot. My father, John Babyak, will be celebrating his 80 th birthday on Feb.5, 2008. I have been racking my brain to try to find something that would mean alot to him as he does to me. And then the thought came to me. FOOTBALL - PENN STATE I have two children who are graduates of Penn State University, and my family has always admired you as well as my father. He has been a faithful fan for years and I can’t think of nothing more special to him than to receive a note from you. I know it is a long shot and I don’t know how else to contact you , but I would be ever grateful to you if you could make him a special person for a day. His name is John Babyak
