More Fumbles in NFL than College?
January 11, 2007
According to an old article that Mr. Fumbles dugg up from SI; In 2005 there was a rough total of 1700 fumbles for turnovers in the NFL. On the college level (Division I) in 2005 there was a rough total of only 1510 fumbles for turnovers.
The point Im trying to make is; College Football is more thrilling to watch. Anything can happen at any moment. Down by 30 at halftime? No problem, we still have a chance. Compare the total amount of offensive yards in one season of NFL play to the total offesive yards in one college season of play, (Division I only of course).
Is the NFL is too stiff as far as competition and talent goes?
What changes if any could make a difference in the NFL?Â
