College Football News/Recruiting News:: Who is the best Provider?
March 7, 2007
When talking about College Football Recruiting who do you rely on for your information about breaking news? Do you go to Scout, Rivals, Fanblogs, SI, or Espn? Scout.com has many writers and analysts working solely based on what is going on in the College Football Recruiting world. They also provide a whole section revolving around future prospects and news on who has committed or not committed. When it comes to Rivals.com you could say these guys are the king in presenting all the news you need about recruiting. Overall the content at Rivals is updated daily with complete, accurate information. You could go to Fanblogs.com and get all the sarcastic news and humility that college football brings forth. Not a bad site…too bad it is not updated during the off-season?
Then you have ESPN, Do I need to say anymore? They are everywhere and obviously they leader in the football world. SI has one claim of fame. Swimsuit Edition. If it wasn’t for half naked chicks subscriptions of this magazine would not sell. I guess you could say sex sells. In this case sex drives the company to focus more on babes than actual sports. Have you ever cracked open a premium Sport Illustrated Magazine? In this years March Edition there is only 36 pages of actual news talking about sports. The rest are all ads! Buy this, buy that, then renew your subscription with SI and receive a free gift. Screw knowing what the hell is going on in College Football. Viagra is the key!
