Troy Smith: destined to flame out at the next level
March 18, 2007
If you look at what Troy Smith did for the Ohio State Buckeyes last year, you know what he is capable of. He lead his team to 20 straight wins and produced more passing yards than any other quarterback in the NCAA, last season. His percentages were truly amazing. When I came across an article from SI today, I could not believe my eyes.
As one AFC personnel director told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: “He’s six feet tall, he’s not a super fast guy and he’s not super athletic. … I don’t think he’s horrible. He’s just a guy.”- courtesy of SI.
NFL Scouts and League analysts are promising that Smith will not be drafted until 4th round. Scouts feel that Smith is too small to compete at the next level and they have labeled him as “destined to flame out at the next level”.Â

As a sportsfan I am truly embarrassed of the Nation Football League and all of the Professional Scouts that hold this same perspective. Those who support Troy Smith know where he came from and what he overcame to reach the pleateu he stands on today. Troy Smith is far from being “just a guy”! WTF
