College Football Recruiting Update - April 2007

April 13, 2007

We currently sit roughly 5 months or less from the opening kickoff of the 2007 NCAA Football season. The upcoming season is already promising new players with great leadership abilities and the possibilty as producing record breaking talent. If you thought college football had hit an all-time high plateau talent wise with Reggie Bush, wait until the 2007 season rolls on in.

Penn State and Nebraska have their eyes set on 5 very talented players. Defensive Back David Whitmore has already verbally committed to Nebraska while the Nittany Lions are trying to work out a deal with numerous offensive players.

In the mean time Antonio Logan-El, a Penn State Class of 2006 signee, wants to be released from his scholarship and is considering transferring home to Maryland, according to the Baltimore Sun. Its not like it matters though because Logan-El is not even listed on Penn State’s spring roster after missing about six weeks of winter conditioning due to multiple family health-related issues. And rumor has it a female friend is mixing up decisions. Don’t they always! This would not be a minimal hit to the Penn State team. Mr. Fumbles says “Dismiss the Pussy Cat”. Make up for it in this years College Football Recruiting Class!
