Joe Torre coming to rescue the Phillies?
April 30, 2007
As just about everyone knows, the Yankees have dropped 8 out of the  last 9 games they have played. In Philadelphia the Phillies lost just about every game at the beginning of the season. Just as the Phillies begin to turn it around the Yankees are still sliding down hill. Last week the Yankees fell to last place for the first time since 1990. All at once, everyone blammed Joe Torre and the rest of the Yankees coaching staff for poor performance, similiar situations took place in Philly when the Phillies had one of their worst starts in history. Today, both coaches are in danger of being fired. Some idiots say Joe Torre would be a perfect fit in Philadelphia, and maybe lift the Phillies of the ground. As for Charlie Manual, most baseball fans feel he doesn’t belong on a Little League field. The possibility of Joe Torre coming to Philadelphia is small but still present. Am I right?
