Digg Pushed Around by Microsoft: Bans Website for Comment

June 22, 2007

Digg has banned Sqlspace.Com for hosting a screen shot of Windows Marketplace showing Ubuntu as the featured product. A comment was made by the User “TheFounder” with a link to the site http://www.sqlspace.com/msft, which showed a screen shot of the Ubuntu product on Windows Market Place. The fact of the matter is: digg dropped the ball on this one. They must of have been scared of being tackled by Microsoft in the clutch. No where in the terms and conditions of Digg.com, does it say a site can be banned because of a comment. It goes to show you Microsoft is a bunch of big bullies taking the money from younger kids pockets while standing in the lunch line.
