According to ESPN Machen had 25 offers come from the college football recruiting world in the last year. Some of those were extremely credible programs such as West Virginia, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Illinois, Maryland, Stanford, Syracuse, and Duke. Some are amazed that he did not choose Illinois or Standford because of the fact, his father played for the Stanford Cardinal, and his grandfather suited up for the Illinois Fighting Illini.
Do you think he will fit as a linebacker for Georgia Tech or should he have chosen a previous generations alma mater?
