When the time comes to choose a college, like all big decisions, the best thing you can do to prepare yourself is ask questions. Is this really the place I want to spend the next four years of my life? Will I be able to represent this university to the best of my ability? What requirements must I meet to cheer on the collegiate level?
All star cheerleading is quickly becoming a world-renowned phenomenon. More and more all star programs are emerging every year and the talent level is through the roof. Not to mention the fact that the USASF Cheerleading Worlds, which highlights the best teams in all star cheerleading from all over the world, has become the ultimate all star competition.
If you’re like the majority of cheerleaders today who have only cheered for a competitive all star team, making the transition to college cheerleading can be a somewhat difficult task. While your potential college team’s style may be similar to what you’re used to as an all star, there is much more to it than you may think.
