Funny I heard this story happened at Buccaneers Training Camp. All the characters were the same but different team. Herm Edwards was a Tampa Bay Asst. Coach under Tony Dungy.

At least 80% of the story is the same, there must be some truth there. It sounds like a really bad day at the office any way you slice it.

My daughter had his Mom for kindergarten. She said he had trouble with his eye when he went to UNC.That he didn’t want to tell anyone because he was afraid he wouldn’t be able to play football. I can’t remember what she called it. My daughter is now in the 7th grade. She is an awesome lady and teacher.
