First, who does Georgia lose? No one. Who does USC and LSU lose? A lot of stand out talent.

Second. Who does Georgia gain. A lot of talent. Who does USC, LSU, and Ohio State gain, some talent.

Number 4, is how they feel, not what happened. Come on Glenn. Fumbled.org is not the only place that believes Georgia is next years biggest threat.

I have two issues with this article. First it says "The Georgia Bulldogs are the biggest threat to win the National Title that NCAA history has ever seen." Really? A team that didn't even go to their own conference championship game is the biggest threat to win it all that the NCAA has ever seen. Come on we only have to go back a couple of years for a USC team that won the championship in 04 and brought back Leinart, Bush and Lendale White and most of the team from the year before. That team seemed much more of a lock than this Georgia team. Georgia has a nice team and played well during the second half of the season but they certainly arent the clear favorite come 08.

Second, point #4 makes no sense. How did they get slighted from the championship game? How could they say they deserved to be in the title game over LSU? LSU won their own conference and beat the team that spanked Georgia. And last time I checked USC didn't play for the title so I am still confused on this point and besides that SC won their conference. Georgia was the third place team from their own conference and had no right to play for the BCS title.

Georgia will be very good, but so will some others. Georgia also has to go to Auburn among others. Moreno is very good but Tebow will be back and so will Harvin. If Georgia wins 12 games, they will deserve to be #1, if they win the last one.

On paper Georgia should win the SEC, but unfortunatley sometimes it doesn't work that way. LSU and Florida will have huge, and I mean huge task at hand to contain the Bulldogs. I do not however, see it happening. It is only a week after the BCS game but I optimistically see Georgia in the BCS Title game next year.

I too think that the 'Dogs will be a contender in '08. However, if you think that LSU and the 'Gators are willing to relinquish their hopes for '08 think again. Ask LSU if the road is steep, ask Florida from the year before. The SEC is brutal and the 'Dogs are capable but shouldn't fall for the hype too early!

Georgia was on my radar in pre-season, and they certainly turned some heads by the way the finished. They play in a tough conference, but I think you might be right about next year. A great football team on the rise. I am especially looking forward to seeing what Moreno can do with a few more carries. That guy is going to be something else...
